Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights

Let's see if I can get a little better at this blogging thing. I am looking for ways to make it easier to get online and make it a worthwhile effort. I want to leave behind something for my daughter to see if something were to happen to me. I know that it sounds silly, but both of my parents are gone, and if I could have a journal or something to look back and see how they felt as they were raising me, I think it would be great. So, we'll see how long this project sticks around.

Audrey loved the Christmas lights at Disney's Hollywood studios. I think the second picture is pricedless because it shows how excited her eyes looked when the lights would dance. She just danced around the street and kept on jumping. That's her new thing. She bends her legs all the way down and tries to launch off the ground. She thinks it's so funny.

I posted some videos on YouTube, so go over there and take a look if you'd like to see her in action.

We made it back to church today, and went to New Parents Life Group again. It was a great worship service as usual. Everything is so great there. I hope that I can feel a connection with the place soon. Maybe that's just not in the plan, though. I'm seeing what a church is like that is growing and on fire, and how important it is to understand people instead of getting bitter at church because the people and the pastor aren't perfect. In the past, I held everything up to an impossible standard. Ah, youth.

Going to Alabammy

We are going to Alabama next Saturday for Thanksgiving Break. We are looking forward to seeing our friends in Calhoun County. It's band reunion weekend, so there will probably be a lot of people there that I haven't seen in 7 years or more. It should be a lot of fun. I found some flights on sale at the last minute, so thank goodness for that. Driving home with Audrey in July was a nightmare, but then perhaps there will be no childhood viruses this time around.

Acts of Love Yard Sale

We sold alot of our stuff today to benefit charities that the church supports. It was great to see so much stuff being picked up and bought by people who need it. However, it was deceptively nice and cool, and I forgot my sunscreen, and now I'm burned to a crisp. I have awesome raccoon eyes, and my neck is red, too. But I guess that's another story, eh?

The house has a lot more room in it, too! w00t
